Susan Lamb Cook, UC Davis  Faculty Affiliate in Cello and Chamber Music, has performed as soloist as well as chamber musician in Austria, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Egypt and the United States, and hold degrees from the University of Iowa and the Hochschule fur Musik in Vienna, Austria. As a member of the Gold Coast Trio, she has served as artist-in-residence for the Classical Music Festival in Eisenstadt, Austria, and will travel to China in the spring of 2008 for a residency at Xiamen University. She has appeared as soloist with orchestras throughout Northern California, and her solo and chamber music recitals have been broadcast on Capitol Public Radio. Her recordings include Works for Piano and Cello by Rachmaninoff, The Gold Coast Trio - Works by Beethoven, Beach, Bernstein and Piazzolla and La Commedia - chamber music by American composer Daniel Kingman.
