Marta Quinn is the new General Manager of the Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra.  Ms. Quinn holds an MBA from the University of Maryland with an emphasis in strategic management and a BA in Multidisciplinary Social Sciences from Michigan State University.  In addition to her scolastic accomplishments, Ms. Quinn is a graduate of Leadership Sacramento, Class of 2004, a longstanding professional development and community awareness program sponsored by the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to joining the Philharmonic, Ms. Quinn served for seven years as CFO/Business Manager for the Sacramento Country Day School.

In addition to  her work experience in non-profit finance and business administration, Ms. Quinn is also a musician, having taught children and adults classical piano and organized a thriving Celtic band in Sacramento, named Cahersiveen.  In August 2006 the band performed by invitation at the Cahersiveen Celtic Festival of Music and Arts in County Kerry, Ireland, and has since appeared in numerous live and televised performances in the Sacramento region.
